Based at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast we have the best of both worlds \u2013 great work \/ life balance plus an exciting and challenging working culture.<\/p>\n<p>Accountants is a dynamic firm growing fast and we specialise in personal and SME tax, accounting and advisory.\u00a0 Our focus is providing clients with genuine accounting expertise within their business to facilitate commercial success and wealth creation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We seek a highly experienced accounting senior whose medium term objective is public practice management.\u00a0 Amongst other duties, the applicant will work closely with the principal to supervise the compliance department which consists of 3 accountants.\u00a0 The applicants must be completely proficient in all facets of public practice work and managing client workflow. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review of Individual tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Completing &amp; reviewing business and SMSF tax returns and financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing &amp; completing BAS &amp; IAS<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing &amp; completing FBT returns<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing client bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Managing client tax lodgement schedules<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating with the ATO<\/li>\n<li>Conducting client interviews<\/li>\n<li>Strategic decisions for group tax completion<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and correctly treating advanced tax and compliance matters for clients<\/li>\n<li>Formulating and preparing advisory reports<\/li>\n<li>Establishing systems to manage workflow<\/li>\n<li>Controlling productivity and write-offs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidate will have desire to grow into a management role and have sights at benefitting from financial rewards for meeting productivity and profitability targets.\u00a0 The role will suit you if you have the following traits and values:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A positive and dynamic personality<\/li>\n<li>Very proficient at the fundamental Microsoft office programs and accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Client-focused with confident public relations skills<\/li>\n<li>Understands how to mentor and train staff<\/li>\n<li>Extremely well organised and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Possess commercial sensibility<\/li>\n<li>Be CPA\/CA qualified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please email your CV to info@trakaccountants.com.au to apply for this position or contact our office on 07 5512 6106 for enquiries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WE ARE HIRING!
